Recomp

Skate 3, native everywhere

Static recompilation translated the Xbox 360 game's PowerPC code into native code ahead of time. It's not emulation: the retail skating and physics run directly on your machine.

The all-in-one build

SK8-Engine is heading toward one Skate 3 that runs on every platform and includes everything the community has built: native rendering, online multiplayer, the map library with every converted community map, the trainer, and phone and desktop builds from one tree. Progress is tracked on GitHub.

You bring the game

None of these builds include Skate 3's game files. Every one asks for your own Xbox 360 disc image (and sometimes Title Update 3) on first run. Install guide →
